Does anyone have a really good preferably widescreen monitor you use for gaming that you would recommend?

Hanns-G LCD 19", 20", 21" all work for gaming (Gow tested and approved). The Dell 22" seems to also be good as well.

Quite a few LCDs are good for gaming now you just have to look at their delay... if its greater than 5ms it is a no go. 5ms or less is what you want.

If you're playing a real time strategy game, then simply hook the TV to your computer for larger screen. If you play FPS games, then you'll need a screen with fast response time, TN screen, high contrast, and accurate color reproduction.

My brother has this one (22" widescreen 1080p supported HD LCD monitor) and uses it for the 360, via VGA... PC via DVI, VCR via Composite video, and that still leaves S-video and component HD inputs available, and the monitor itself supports multi-display Picture in Picture with transparency support.

I am not even going to try to respond to all of these posts. I am an avid pc gamer and I build my own systems so I know all about which monitors are good or bad, i just wanted to find out if anyone has a good monitor that they would recommend because my old LCD got broken.

WHAT!!!!! What CRT has a better resolution and colors than any mid range LCD monitor? Also all you need with MODERN video cards like I have, is just get a cable to hook up yo your tv.

try not to double post.. i don't see why you need opinions if your an "expert" on building computers.. our opinions seems to be way too useless for you after you saying that... and we have no clue how much you willing to pay.. since the 22" Velocity price is $350.. but i got mine for $170 which i admit it was a very good monitor

I have a model similar to that one, it is pretty nice. Just don't expect anything great from the speakers.
