Default Re creating video folders or playlists

When I connect my Zune to the computer it will not turn on, but the screen says connected. Are you supposed to be able to turn the Zune on when it is connected. It does sync and download stuff but if I wanted to hook up to someone else´s computer yo play a video on a larger screen, this does not seem possible. Should I be able view stuff from my Zune on any computer that has Zune software installed?

Is there anyway to put a lock code or security code on the Zune?

Is it possible to make playlists or folders for the "video" section the way you can for photos and music? Seems this was overlooked or I am not figuring out how to do this.

Any help appreciated.

You already asked some of this^
There is no way to make playlist or other folders, but you can make separate categories
Zmeta
Try Zmeta just put your .wmv vids in there and put them into their desired categories

I've converted all my flv files to MP4 files. Should I reconvert them to wmv files?

Also, is Zmeta software that works with Zune specifically or is it something like windows media player or quick player.

How do you get files from Zmeta to make actual folders or playlists?

No folders or playlists, just categories such as movies, music vids, tv shows
Mp4's wont work with zmeta, so if you really want them in categories, then yes your gonna have to convert them to wmv's
Add the files into zmeta, then click on Videos tab, right click the video, and set the category, then at the top, choose the close files tab, and then exit the program and add the videos to the software, sync them, and they should be in categories now
