Now @ your question, I would only do it up a little, like only a few MHz @ a time. Then test it for a while, then if that doesn't create any problems, go up and up and what not. It is very risky to overclock. I would recommend an external cooler for your laptop. Though, you're probably going to shorten your laptops life expectancy.You also, will only be able to get a few MHz before you kill your laptop. Also, you'll shorten the battery's charge, waring it out quicker if the laptop battery is Lithium(If it was bought with in the past 9 years or so, it's probably Lithium)With overclocking a laptop, you may not even be able to use your computer for long periods of time. So, whether you think the pros outweigh the cons or vice versa, that's your choice.
