Default [SOLVED] My zune Died today

Anyone that can help me with a reset or some sort of way to turn the thing on would be great.

Working today within about 10 feet of a TIG welder and the device just shut off. Turned back on and buttons didn't work. Now it won't turn on at all and it is not reconised as being synced (plugged into USB).

HELP!!!

awwwww...that sucks. You can always call that number, I forgot I think 1800microsoft or somethin' like that and that they will give you a free one in exchange. I seen some people here do that and they sounded happy with it.

Tech help, while Totally new at the whole "English is my first language I swears" thing, actually helped after only 20 min. Just needed the reset button. (anyone else its: Hold back button and Up on the pad for the 30 gigs.) I guess I can't listen to music at work any more sad face.

This happen to me before!!! i could use the buttons thou. first i came here and asked the personal and i think they mention reinstall the zune software so i did and still the usb woundlt work so i called tech support it took like 30 minutes. going thru the list he told me to plug it into the computer didnt work, and then he told me to plug it into the wall still didnt work. I then tried my lil bro cable and still no to both the wall and the usb, so then it died on me. The dude say charge it in the wall for like how long they recommed it to charge. So i charged it all night and still died. But he saved the list me and him checked off. So if it still didnt work to call back and he gave me the reference number and then i talk to a lady, and explain and still wasnt working. So i was in warrenty and they sent me a new one.

sry so long, but its going to be a pain with customer support.
