Please help with Software upgrade

Hey Guys,

Please help me. I have upgraded my Zune software to 2.2, But when I plug in my Zune, it isn't always recognized by the software. when it is, I sends me to the firmware upgrade, and when i click install it gives me the error code of "c000d11cd" which it seems is a general error. I haven't been able to find anything about this particular problem here on the boards, but some close. Can someone point me in the right direction to solve the problem.

Here's what I'm working with:

Windows XP sp2
a 1 year old 30Gig zune

i would recommend reinstalling the program.

but the new software sucks. i'm going to downgrade...

oh no, not c000d11cd! God i hate that error message... try getting rid of all Zune related files after uninstalling, maybe using UnZoone http://www.zune-online.com/news/zune...ftware-v2.html
