That would be Windows Media Video. There is Cucusoft thats a good one and pretty cheap for the Ultimate Version with Lifetime upgrades. Though does it have to be used in Microsoft movie maker? Why?
I ask this because another good option if you want to turn a DVD into AVI, h264 or mpeg-4 is Handbrake its great open source software that I have been using.

If you're looking for something free, you can use "HandBrake" for Windows (or Mac) to rip the movie from a DVD into AVI format, then use "Microsoft Windows Encoder 9" to convert the avi to wmv format. Although this is a 2-step process, both applications are free.

MediaCoder and Encode360 are two more free WMV encoders.
Another great DVD to h264 mpeg-4 is Staxrip.
