what is zunebusenum.exe?

is this a virus??
it keeps asking zonealarm for permission?

No, it's a process used by the Zune software. It allows wireless syncing to occur in essence.

Thanks for the info. But if its wireless sync why does it need internet access??

It doesn't need internet access it needs network access to access the Wireless Router it accesses to access to your computer to sync the files.

Excessive accesses for my pleasure.

Is that how zonealarm works (firewalls in general) it blocks network access rather than internet access?? (Noob question about networks/firewalls)

Zonealarm blocks network access along with Internet access unless you specifiy what it should or should not block. It usually sees all network access as one unless it is specified to ignore local access or home network.

The best bet is to have a hardware firewall alias router. If using WiFi it also good to have it WPA or another security measure running with password protection so no one piggybacks off your internet.

Don't let them shutdown your internets!! Heh

I have wpa for protection. what do you recommend for hardware firewall protection??

Its built into your Router, unless your WiFi Router is not a Router.
