Zune Program Removing songs from Device

Anyone having problems with the Zune program removing songs from you zune device, i have turned automatic sync off and still does it, its getting me real mad. Its killing my playlists that were all ready on the device.

If you don't want the music at all, then you should delete the music from your hard disk and then sync; this will delete music from your Zune.

If you want to keep the music though, then usually when I go to the 'Michael' section (my Zune's name is Michael), I can delete stuff just like I was deleting it from my library. Even though it says that the Zune software can't delete content directly from the Zune device, it does it anyway.

Can't say I've had it remove anything except for podcasts... which I like.

A podcast is either a video or audio file that someone puts out on the internet about anything they want it to be about....

Frank, do you have the new software and firmware?? And by new I mean the stuff released on Nov 13th.

If you want to remove music from the zune software but not have it remove from your device, go under settings and click "forget this device", then delete what you want from your software collection before unplugging your Zune.

Yes I have both new software and firmware. I want to keep my music. Im trying to reverse sync, but wont sync all songs only a few.

If you want to make sure that all of your content is being synced, then you should go to your 'Recently Added' section and drag and drop all of that stuff into the custom sync list thing. Then go to the pictures section, then the videos section, and just do that untill everything you want to sync is on the user-made sync list.
