Default Display is garbled

I recently uninstalled, and then installed again, my Zune software - and now when I start it, the zune screen on the pc is nothing but lines. It connects fine to my Zune - getting 'connected' message on the zune itself - so I think the software is loading up correctly, I just can't see it. I recently cleaned my computer registry, and updated Windows, but all my other programs seem to be working and displaying fine - any idea?
thanks

Were you having this problem before you uninstalled and installed it? If not, try reinstalling it again.

if its only the zune do a hard reset

1. Press and hold the back button
2. Press up until it reboots
3. Then start pressing and holding the center "OK" button and pressing left on the control pad at the same time
4. connect to computer it will do the rest

It is the actual software on the computer that is having the problem, I believe. I am currently having the same problem.

Unlike you, though, I did not uninstall my software. I had installed the software fine with no problems whatsoever, but the next day it had this problem. I uninstalled, and then I reinstalled, but no go. Then, I cleaned my registry, and it was normal. After that, I restored it, and it went back to being garbled. I then cleaned the registry again, but that did not fix it.

There is a solution somewhere on these forums, but it involves the Windows registry, and I would rather not go into the registry if possible.

Would those registry keys be in there by default?
