Its happened to me a couple of times already. every time i try to open a web page only weird codes show up. it happens on all websites that i visit. sometimes if im lucky i can access a page like right now. does any one know whats wrong with my computer and how to fix it.
like a said this has happened to me already it usually lasts like 2 days and it fixes it self and then three days later he problem occurs again. for example when i go to yahoo it gives me this _lcs = decodeURIComponent(_lcs); var YAHOO=window.YAHOO||{};YAHOO.namespace=function(ns ){if(!ns||!ns.length){return null;}var _2=ns.split(".");var _3=YAHOO;for(var i=(_2[0]=="YAHOO")?1:0;i<_2.length;++i){_3[_2[i]]=_3[_2[i]]||{};_3=_3[_2[i]];}return _3;};YAHOO.log=function(_5,_6,_7){var l=YAHOO.widget.Logger;if(l&&l.log){return l.log(_5,_6,_7);}else{return false;}};YAHOO.extend=function(_9,_10){var f=function(){};f.prototype=_10.prototype;_9.protot ype=new f();_9.prototype.constructor= sometimes it gives much different and longer codes Last edited by lacrosse_man16 : 11-19-2007 at 09:00 PM. Have you tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it? Make sure you are up to date with 2.0.0.9. If still doesn't work you could always try Flock.

Yes, Flock is nice HOWEVER it is based on the mozilla client so it will more than likely give you the same issue, try Opera or IE. and lol Gow im already ahead of you. |

its not any specific links it just happens to me on all websites and sometimes randomly the page turns out fine instead of the usually html codes.
i tried to uninstal and reinstall but it didnt work and IE gives me the same problem. i have a suspiicion that it may be some malware or worm because they ramdomly pop up and they come up fine while the rest of the internet is still only html codes. oh and by the way its an on and off thing browser works fine for like an hour or two and then just html codes just so up for a while and then later its fine. ive got no idea whats goin on. |

Have you run an adware/spyware detector on the computer?
The problem sounds familiar its just the solution is not popping out my brain. Its a setting somewhere most likely if thats the case of it not displaying properly in both IE7 and Firefox. It could have something to do with the network connection setup or tweaking. If I figure it out I will reply back further. Lacrosse may know the answer.

I recommend NOD32 and Spyware Terminator for all of your protection. Both are lightweight programs and give you the best resuslts I have found anywhere. NOD32 is the Anti-Virus and Spyware Termnator is well... a spyware terminator but it can also be used as a firewall if you set it up to be. |
