Exclamation My Vista PC won't detect my Zune!!


My Zune won't be detected by my new Vista Laptop!! I have spent over 4 hours on the phone with Zune all to be told there is nothing they can do......they say it's a problem with my USB ports, but everything else that hooks up to the ports work just fine. I've tried EVERYTHING they told me to do......i've tried resetting the zune while it's plugged in, i've uninstalled and reinstalled the software, i've uninstalled and installed the zune device driver, it's still connects fine to my XP Windows PC:mad.........all i get is Error Code 10: Device cannot start........ANYONE have any help?

Try resetting your Zune.

Unplug your Zune.
Hold the back button and up on the middle button together for about 5 seconds. That will reset it.
Plug it back in and it should be detected.

if not try reformatting your laptop.

same thing happened to me.

make sure u back up all ur files.

i had the same problem go, to system under control panel then click device manager under portable devices you'll find your zune if it is plugged in then reinstall the driver software
