Stewie Griffin

So, I mentioned this to my girlfriend and she hadn't noticed it so I thought I should check out how many other people did/didn't.

Who has noticed that Stewie Griffin no longer wants to take over the world and kill Lois? I saw an old episode lo Family Guy and noticed that all he was talking about was taking over the world and using deadly weapons to try to kill Lois. He doesn't do that anymore.

He still does. Didn't you see the episodes "Stewie Kills Lois" and "Lois Kill Stewie". He has changed, but he's just as funny to me. He hangs with Brian a lot now.

he does hang out with Brian a lot now....why? and what seasons were those two episodes in?
season five was the one with "stewie loves lois"

They were part of the latest season (6?) and they were great episodes. Pretty weird ending, but still really good.

Yea they were in season 6^
He still wants to take over the world, if u remember in the one where he meets his future self he asks why he hasn't taken over the world yet
I guess it's not much of a priority to him as much as it used to be

well they hang out because some part like when brian losses his Rubert or when the army recruit no big deal its all funny to me.

because you cant write 6 seasons of the same thing over and over. "take over the world and kill lois" stewie was a horrible character, at least now his character has some depth that people can relate to. i think its a lot better how he's a normal character now, with some interjections of evil to keep his persona at his roots.
new stewie > old stewie

Lol it's like you took the words right out of my mouth. Plus IMHO knowing and seeing that Stewie was going to try to take over the world and kill Lois almost each episode back in the day became repetitive and boring...was funny at first but after seeing him try over and over always trying to accomplish the same goal became dull and boring..

I think it's like South Park, Kenny used to die in every episode and it lost it's funny, so now he dies occasionally, I think stewie will occasionally try to kill louis in future episodes

well overall, Stewie will always be one of my favorite characters, alongside with Peter and Brian.. I do sometimes have a hard time figuring out when they're experiencing imagination, and when its actually their reality... because they are all cartoon characters, it doesn't have to reflect the physics of reality. let alone the fact that stewie's able to pilot military aircraft.

i don't really watch south park...I mean, it's cool and all....but I don't like it too much.....not as much as Family Guy.

He will take over the world again. Let him get a little older. Brian...woops I mean Seath McFarlene needs a season for stewie to be normal. And all of the characters have changed slightly. It happens w/ all shows. Like Naruto. in the beginning. Naruto fought all of the time. Now... he deals w/ real world issues. It's the only way a show can live one.

I think that all of the Characters have changed since the beginning of the show. Lois is a little crazier than she was in the first couple of season, Meg is hated more an more each episode, Brian and Stewie are practically best friends whereas they hated each other at the beginning fo the show and Chris is... still Chris. I think that even Peter is a lot more blatant in his stupidity...

Yeah, I've definitely noticed that too!

And as Meg is getting hated on more by the family, I love how she's getting more and more sick of it and lashes out at them more

On another note, a couple me and my bf are friends with just had a baby last month, and they named him Stewart A. Griffin. We were both like WTF.
