South Park in a heartbeat. Family Guy has its moments of funny, but not enough substance to make me stick around. SP has both the stupid gag humor and more serious political/cultural/life-ical themes that honestly come across as genuine and intelligent.

Based on the recency of shows, I'd have to agree.
Season 11 of South Park kicked ass!

Plus, SP says a lot about world events (even if it's just to make fun of them)

South Park is a great show, Family Guy can also be pretty good.

I have problems with both though.

Family Guy - Something is wrong with your show when 95% of your jokes can have no relevence to the plot, most of them being "flash-backs" that do have LITERALLY NOTHING to do with the plot and have some small funny ironic thing in it.

South Park - Very funny, but if you watch it A LOT, it gets old after a while. I watched it far too often and now, I dont even watch new episodes, I'll watch them when I start to like it again.

I dont even know which one I would want because I do like them both, reguardless of if Family Guy is overrated.

South Park all the way. Family Guy started going down hill after Season 4. I stoped watching that show. South is still a great show that never gets old.
