I have seen this before and im sure that you guys have as well, but its a nice little mod made for forums that hides the desired portion of the post usually the links and can be un-hidden only by posting a well deserved thanks to the creator of the post. This can also eliminate spamming and link tracking bots so we do not have to out links in [code] boxes anymore. If you need help finding this mod just PM me and I can help look for it.

Yeah i know that code, although if you just click quote you can find the url and not have to post a thanks.

I already tried something like this. Forcing users to post to view links creates to much spam. We're already forcing them to register, and that's enough, it seems.

putis, I think he means they would have to Rep the person to be able to download it.

Still wouldn't matter, since unregistered users can't give rep., and even normal members' reputation doesn't count until they have 50 posts.
