I have an idea

[Creative Zune]

Since the ZUNE HD ( emphasis on the HD)is going to be release 41 days from the date of the post . i think that someone ( a programmer) should put a count down timer on the main page so that everyone can see how many days is left until the release of the ZUNE HD.


AND

We should have a littile competition to see who will be the first ones to buy a zune hd ( at the store ) and to make sure they did purchase it they should post picks go it along with a receipt with the date clearly shown .. and the top 10 people would get an award .

I'd be all for a countdown timer, but there would be no place to put it.

so far i came up with two solutions

1) make a flash pop up for the count down timer so when you go on this website a flash image shows up with the days, hours,mins and seconds left and you just simply click "ok" an it dissappears.

OR

2) on the main page where you see "zune getting sued" that can be re sized so that the count down timer can go left or right of it..or just remove it altogether and make the countdown timer bigger and it stands out more...

well thats a start... but we would need a much bigger font or some animations (java ,flash)

IEDIT guess an ever better idea is to put z countdown code in our sigs

Possible use anyone?? i left what i used in the firebugs html editor at the bottom visible, just incase anyone wanted to consider using it.

I think the best place for a timer is a big banner on the top of the window, for ALL themes (except mobile).
