so i think that you guys should make the ChatBox like that on Facebook. Where as you move throughout the site, the Chatbox will move also.

Or you can just keep one tab open to the forum index. It works.

Ops, like Nurta said, are basically the mods of the room. They can handle mode sets, kicks, and the like.
As for how to get to it, mIRC is an excellent client, and for a web client, Mibbit.com Webchat client is pretty good, 'tis what I use.

What's the server and room? You know... I've always wanted to play around with a chat bot...
The server is Coldfront, the room is #ZuneBoards. The server is pretty dominated by CyberNations, so expect it to get full around 1 AM EST, which is "update" at the CN servers, and when EVERYONE gets on. Most of the time though, it's pretty good. Oh, and you also have to deal with chanserv/nickserv if you haven't befor. I set +R, so registered nicks only.
