moved topics

i appreciate the boards, so i hope this isn't taken the wrong way, but almost the entire first page of "zune talk" is taken up with moved topics. perhaps you guys should think about changing the "talk anything related to zune" description to make it more clear exactly what this forum is about. since so many get it wrong, including myself whose topic got moved to "rumors" when i was asking about perspectives, it would help if the description of the forum was written so as to be specific as to what this particular forum is dedicated to. myself, i'm not clear at all.

It's not that the topics are placed incorrectly, it's that there are places where they belong 'more,' if that makes sense. The Zune is a broad subject, and there's lots of overlapping areas. A thread discussing a newly released accessory technically fits into 'Zune Talk,' but it's more in place in 'Accessories.

i understand the motivation for the moves, and some of them are certainly warranted. well, as you guys are the moderators and the ones who maintain the forums, if you deem that moves are warranted, then that is enough to make it so. having said that, it seems strange when you log in and see that the entire first page of "zune talk" is nothing but moved topics. it seems a little overkill, especially as some of the moves don't seem to be a better "fit" at all.

I've deleted a LOT of "Thread Moved" notices... it should look more cleaner now. It's kinda ironic, but this thread is in the wrong section too... ;D

Also staff, when you move threads, please uncheck the option "Post a redirection topic." unless the thread is very useful/important.

oh, i knew there was a section for this, but i wanted to make sure it was seen.

still, thanks for the work you do in maintaining this site. overall, i do enjoy it.

I'm sorry I will be more careful from now on. I have been so busy that I have been un able to watch activly so I jumped on and saw so many things that didn't belong where they were at. I'm a bad guy i'm sorry.
