Suggestion to ZuneBoards

I know you guys dont allow warez anymore,
but I think it would be cool if there was a section of downloads thats
free content, like google videos already converted to WMV and tagged in zMeta, or music from Jamendo.com. Stuff like that.

So its basically the concept of warez, without the illegal-ness.

Good idea or no?

Jamendo.com sounds nice and legal. There are, however, lots of illegal content uploaded to google video.

Oh. Hah I forgot about that I guess. Hmm. Can anyone suggest an alternative to googlevideo for free, not-illegal videos?

well, if Zuneboards was the one that is uploading the google videos...then nothing illegal would get on here right? Or, if someone wanted to get it uploaded, they would have to get it checked be Zuneboards before it was posted. It's actually a really good idea. Getting any videos for my Zune would be great. Is that a good idea?

See, thats what I was kind of thinking. It might require some work, but maybe, if we created a team of video checkers, that check to see if its all zmeta'd and its not illegal, (IE: Tvshows,movies,) then we could do it. I dont know. Its just an idea.

I don't like it.. It's gonna take a lot of work to moderate and one mistake can screw you over bad.

Yeah, its just a suggestion jon. Just looking for ways to help people get more content on there zunes. Im tired of looking at my friends 500 songs and 0 videos/pictures/podcasts.

Good idea, it's kinda like what we're doing with the tools section (posting freeware)
