When can I upload wallpaper?

Okay... maybe I'm spazzing out and overlooked something very obvious, but every time I try to attach a wallpaper to a post (in the wallpaper section), I get a warning about going over my quota. The image is only a 240x320 .jpg that is less than 48KB.

Any assistance is appreciated, thanks.

check to make sure you didn't upload it anyway... sometimes when we get errors it will still upload.

If you are over your quota, it might not be that one image. You are restricted to a certain maximum upload quantity, so if you upload 10 2k images and have a quota of 20k, you can't upload anymore 2k images.

Thanks for the info... I can't even upload a single 36K .jpg file... I get an error stating that I'm over quota. I'll try uploading a smaller file.

edit:
I tried uploading a 13KB .jpg and I received a warning that I was 3KB over my quota. oh well.

Try uploading them to the gallery, instead of attaching them. The limit, in the gallery, is less strict.

I've tried uploading in the gallery numerous times... regardless of the image used, I get:

Sorry, sracer: Bad Open - Cannot Open the images Directory for Writing

hmm, guess not.

For now you can just upload to a site like flickr or photobucket and use [ img ] tags
