Default Football Season Just Around the Corner.

So i wanna know your Highschool (or college) Team is doing to prepare you guys.

We just got a new coach. our varsity last year was 2-7 and our jv was 7-2 and freshmens were also 7-2

Hopefully coach wood will do alot better on the field.

To prepare us he has been giving us so much hard work and lifting. As ive been talking to LPX about his team they do about 2x more work then we do since they get counted as a class.. boo.

This is what we have been doing to prepare us.

- 1 mile warmup lap (sometimes less)
- Weight Lifting 3x6 and then 3x3 and drop sets.
- Pylo metrics ( kinda like yoga to build up balance)
- tire flips a tire weighting about 200 pounds and trying to flip it. Very difficult and helps you alot.

our weightlifting goes such as.

Monday- Benching , Inclining , And ab workouts.
Tuesday- Squating, Deadlift / Cleans, and then Tire flips.
Wedsday - Same as Monday
Thursday - same as tuesday
Friday - Off.

I would also like to know your 40 yard dash, max weights etc etc.

I hope we have many active members participating in the great sport of fooseball.

I would have done football, if my high school had it. Tis a shame, good luck though.

I'd be playing football, if I didn't hurt my back during practice a few years back. Being in pain every second of every day of your life sucks.

Ah our JV did just as bad and this year, we haven't done anything hard -.-
We think the coaches are taking it easy on us because they don't want anyone to quit haha.
But our Varsity made playoffs, which was pretty boss.
I just started playing this year for JV.
We haven't done much other then go through plays and mess around. But our conditioning starts next week.
My max for bench is 165, the most I've gone for squat is 250 but I think my max for it is 270.
My 40 yrd dash is pretty slow cuz I'm a slow accelerator -.- Forgot what it was.

Meh, I just watch a bunch of Highschool football. A while back I had to make the choice of which sport to play, being soccer and Football were the same season and I really couldn't make it work out.. being I had more experience with soccer I stuck with that.

My town's pretty big on soccer.
We were 3rd in the nation last year.
But football is where it's at.

my area is soooo small in soccer.
I guess its bigger down south and maybe towards the west coast since Beckham came over. But up here in Pennsylvania, football is is huuuuuuuge.
