Fun game. I saw it on TV and enjoyed myself. I wish the ending had been closer and more exciting.
I thought Boston was just more polished and ready to go. LA couldn't convert on the critical possessions. It felt like they either turned it over or Kobe took a tough shot which he missed or they just missed. ![]() |

I tried watching it but there is was this big ass storm system coming through and the news station thought it would be more important to stand there pointing out the obvious instead of showing the game
honestly the weather man said "It will be raining here'' and pointed to the green crap on the map, and did it about 100 times bastards

I was listening to ESPN radio, and they brought up a good point about Pierce's injury. Milwaukee Brewers (baseball) pitcher Yovani Gallardo hurt his knee in a game against the Cubs a while back, but continued to pitch in the game. Later though, it was foun dout that he had a torn ACL.
Preliminary tests aren't enough. Sometimes they can't catch serious injuries. If I were the Celtics, I'd get him checked up immediately. Him playing will determine whether or not they win or lose this series. Having said that. Go Celts!

Good game.
Lakers played way better than I had anticipated. And did very well on moving the ball around. However, the matchups are just to indifferent. Props to Gasol for playing good Defense. But thats only 1 player, out of 5. Kobe played horrible 9-26 on Field Goals And 0 - 3 on 3 pointers. Was it just an off game? Or Celtics defense? I say Celtics in Game 5.

Utter domination by Boston tonight. Game's not quite over yet but it might as well be. LA just got dominated, plain and simple.
However the real series starts Game 3 when they go to LA to play. If Boston wins in Los Angeles then it's over. EDIT: What a comeback by LA at the end. It was a close one at the end. But Boston held on. Great performance by Powe tonight Last edited by ljtj28 : 06-08-2008 at 09:00 PM. Reason: .. ![]() |

They gotta have a good first quarter. I would be seriously concerned if the Lakers scored like they did in the first quarter in games 4 and 5. They need to be in total control. Having said that, I think they'll pull it off.

![]() But IMHO that was one of the most boring finals game in my life...only because we already knew that Boston was going to win the game and title by the end of the 3rd quarter already...=/...good game none the less though.
