he really did, but I mean, at least the Spurs held him for the first half, can you imagine two halves like that? SICK!

Well, the Spurs also know now that they CAN get a lead like that in a game against the Lakers, it just takes a little more to hold that lead. I'm so excited to see the game tonight.

San Antonio really bounced back in the Lakers-Spurs series yesterday. They beat LA by a lot.

I don't know if they can beat LA but I hope they do

Looks like detroit might get their act together tonight, although I'd like the Celtics to win. Don't think I could stomach a Pistons-Spurs match again X_X

OH OH OH! A pistons Spurs match! That would be insane man! I would cry for days just because I wouldn't want to go through the emotional trail that would lay ahead for me. I hope the Spurs can win tonight.

Personally I don't think Pistons-Spurs will happen because I don't think either of those teams will advance. Detroit is closer to beating Boston I think that San Antonio is to beating L.A.

The problem with San Antonio is that they've peaked. They're guys are getting older. I'd say they have one, maybe two years left as being one of the NBA elite teams before they need to either rebuild or trade off their aging stars for some young talent.

I don't even want to start with Boston...they have so much talent on that team

and as far as being old....well yeah! But they do have young guys still! I mean, Parker is still young, so is Ginobili, and Udoka is too! Duncan and Bowen and Horry and Barry are old, but they do have some youth.

Default NBA PLAYOFF RESULTS?

Who do you think will win the NBA Playoffs? I think the Lakers and the Celtics will be in the championship game and the Lakers would win it all. what are your opinions?

Tony Parker is 26, Ginobli is 31, Tim Duncan is 32, Udoka is 31 as well, Bowen is 36...they're all up there. Look under the age column from this link

Overall San Antonio only has 4 guys under 30. That's old.

Now Portland on the other hand....I won't get into it too much but let's just say we're good for the next 10 years

And tough loss for San Antonio the other night...I agree lilberny, it'll be LA vs. Boston but I think Boston will win it all. Though that will be a close series. Boston just has the supporting players to win a champtionship. Kobe + Lamar = good but I don't know if they're good enough to compete with all the talent Boston has

yeah, they're old, but you can't say that other players haven't hit that age and still been amazing. How old is Kobe? He's pretty old too!

True...Kobe is 30. But he's just something special :p

But San Antonio got knocked out..I wanted them to win over LA but oh well. Now the only question is whether or not Boston can clean up Detroit tonight (they're playing right now actually) or whether they're going to a game 7.

I don't know, I think Boston might take this series. It's going to be close for sure but with KG + Ray Allen + Paul Pierce they're looking pretty good.

Although to be honest LA has totally dominated their series and are really on a role. I hate both teams though so I don't really care that much who wins

Ok now its time for sports with MajerMclovin, formerly known as MajerPayne.

Alright here we go kiddies.
First off the next person who says "Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce are playing way to good blah blah blah"
I'm going to break out my old faithful spork shank and slice out your esophagus.
And anyone who has said something like that is a complete retard and knows nothing of the Boston Celtics or the Playoffs
And those former posts sha'll be considered void.
For the following reasons.

1. Kevin Garnett has had more good games then bad granted, but when his games are bad they are down right horrendous considering how he should be playing.
2. Ray Allen has been horribly off shot, especially in Game 4 against the Pistons.
( he was 0 - 3 for 3's and had a total of 11 points for the game and he is only averaging 14 ppg in the playoffs.)
3. HOW CAN YOU LEAVE OUT KENDRICK PERKINS?! Seriously, now I know he doesn't have many consecutive great games, but when he has a great game he has a GREAT GAME.

Now I just do not see the Lakers beating the Celtics.
The Celtics just have to many key players.
And this is what is really going to screw the Lakers over.
If they put Pau Gasol on Kevin Garnett.
Then that leaves no one big enough to cover Kendrick Perkins.
But if they put Gasol on Perkins, then Garnett is pretty much guaranteed to have another 30+ point night.
Now don't think I forgot about Lamar Odom.
Is he big enough to guard KG?
Sure he is, KG is 6'11" and I believe Odom is 6'10".
But does Lamar have the defensive ability to beat KG?
Not in my opinion.
And if he is put on Perkins.
I believe Perkins will be backing him down to the basket all night.

And btw just thought I'd throw this out there.
The Celtics shutdown Lebron James. (Who many people consider to be better than Kobe)
Theres a good chance that they will shutdown Kobe too.

But take out all the mis-matches.
All the "who's on game and who's not"
Still what you got is this.
The Celtics who are completely in sync with each other.
And the Lakers who in my opinion have absolutely no cooperation on the court.
They get into their grooves every now and then when it actually looks like they are communicating and acting as a cooperating team.
But nothing near as consistent as the Celtics.

And when the Lakers get in trouble what happens?
Every teammate get's the ball, then passes it to Kobe.

What happens when the Celtics get in trouble?
They maintain composure and work as a team.

Argue all you want Laker fans.
But that's the hard to swallow truth.

That was the point of saying KG + Ray Allen + Paul Pierce is just too much. If one of them has a bad game the other two can pick it up.

I will admit though I'm not too familiar with the East..

I wasn't saying that to you directly.
A lot of people say that.
"Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce are to great to be stopped"

When really thats all they know, is that they are on a team together.

Well Ray Allen I think is a bit too washed up now. It's really just Pierce and KG. I'll be rooting for the celtics though. I think KG deserves this one haha.

KG definitely deserves this one,
And I agree with Major about how when the Lakers are in trouble, the ball goes to Kobe, I hate teams like that. I really do. But the Celtics are a TEAM, and they act like one, I'm rooting for the Celtics, the East, for the first time in my life!

Me and my mom say Boston in 6 games. My dad says Boston in 7. Either way, Lakers are a great team, but Boston is an even better team.

It's going to be a really close series. Both teams have their strengths, but in general I've heard more people calling it for Boston. Boston just has a great time with the great trades they pulled off.
