ZuneBoards Acquired by CrowdGather, Inc.

Hello friends! On July 3rd, ZuneBoards and CrowdGather had been discussing a possible acquisition, which had played out quite nicely. As of July 7th, 2008, ZuneBoards is owned by CrowdGather, a well-respected company that has been building a network of friendly communities. Their goal is to create the world's best user experience for forum communities.

Q. What does this mean for ZuneBoards' members and readers?

A. Changes for the better! The staff, including myself, will continue to closely moderate the website to ensure the best experience. CrowdGather will work to make ZuneBoards greater than we already are. That's pretty freakin' great! Contest? Competitions? You betcha! We have great contests and competitions coming up real soon for our 2nd birthday.

Q. What does this mean for ZuneBoards' partners and advertisers?

A. From what it looks right now, things will remain the same. For specific questions, feel free to PM me, or CrowdGather.

Haa, knew it. I checked out crowdgather.com. Seems they gobble up forums on the net. LOL, I broke this story on friday. Nice press release.

Gobble up isn't the correct term im afraid. lpx decided to sell zB's. That's his perrogative. CrowdGather was interested in purchasing it.

Now let's see what they have in store

Hey what's up, man i need to post more on zuneited, been real busy. great job on the podcast, haven't miss one yet.

I agree with you on the sale of zb, plus helping out family is the most important thing one can do.

I hope so too

I don't think it will since forums tend to be destroyed when admins leave to start their own competing forums after a takeover. I think with the history and strength of this place- we will continue to grow!
