The WSJ Poll Response...

Well I'm not sure if you were a part of the whole Wall Street Journal poll debacle that sent more than 200,000 votes streaming to the WSJ poll for the Zune, but it's interesting what some of the responses have been.

The Wall Street Journal said:

....in a highly improbable move, Zune surged from less than 1% through most of the polling to 28% at the end...

But that's not the last of it:
Daniel Eran Dilger of roughlydrafted.com wrote in his latest slam of Microsoft that the poll must have been rigged by Microsoft itself!

Microsoft discovered the embarrassment, and the next day there were 16,481 new votes, 14,999 of which happened to be Wall Street Journal readers exclusively excited about the Zune. That’s over 91% of the readers of an article that had fallen out of sight by that time. There aren’t that many people on Earth who have heard of the Zune and read the Wall Street Journal.

hahaha....if he only knew....and wait a minute...if there can't be more than 15,000 readers of the Wall Street Journal, how did the iPhone get more than 400,000 votes? His logic isn't all there...

And, as one of the commenters of that MacDailyNews article said:

Hey, what's going on? As of yesterday the Zune had 0 (zero) percent votes. Today it has 27%?

So, suddenly, thousands of people want a Zune? I think not. Someone is stuffing the ballots

Another one said:

MS clearly STUFFED the vote.

But I'll agree with one of the Mac commenters when they said:

You know if you go to the first page of that Mac Daily news story on the comments you will note a post talking about an auto vote, then look at the vot after that post. Started jumping up to the 64000 total it held until , our "hmmm Zune strength showed up.
Man they accuse MS of cheating when they where the first to fire things up. Lol what a bunch of ...............

The iPhone/iPod was comfortably leading even before MDN did their get-out-the-vote gambit. The zune was comfortably near or at the bottom until some mysterious last-minute surge pushed it up to 28%.

You tell us what's suspicious.

Ive been over at the Mac Daily news site leaving comments, calling them on their actions and challenging them on their beliefs of superiority over other manufactures. I get nothing.
