Default Best In Car Solution...

Hey all,

Before i get to the point i'll give you a little background so you get an idea. I've just been given my first car by my cousin and i had to buy a new CD/MP3/AUX player. Now i gave a quick search and being in the UK there is even less in the way of Zune goodness.

What im looking for is a way to use my Zune in my Car without having to fiddle about to much. I've bought the FM Transmitter from Amazon, but is a windscreen mount and a FM transmitter really my best fix?

Is there a USB enabled In Car Entertainment system or is it just something us Zune owners have to accept that we're a tiny minority in a sea of "iProducts"?

Cheers for reading guys

Hallam

You'll be very hard pressed to find an in car solution that controls the Zune.
There's a FEW pioneer and alpine units that will, but they are discontinued and very expensive.

If your new player has an aux input, then get a cable and skip the FM transmitters. Get a cable long enough that you can comfortably control your zune though... and learn to like long playlists or long podcasts! Fiddling with gadgets in your car is like texting... dangerous.

Zune Dual Connect Remote

used together with...Zune AV Output Cable works perfect

...and you can get'em from eBay.com at a discount price

caveat I've only been told these will achieve what I'm after and that is to use the sync port to rca's at the rear aux input of my head unit. I don't care if the head unit can control it or not as I'd rather just use the Zune anyway.
