Zune HD Question
Hello everyone! I come here asking for some advice regarding the Zune HD.
I currently have a Zune 80GB. Got in in 2008, and I've loved it ever since. I've also gotten into playing all of my music through the Zune software so in general, I really am a "Zune guy."
My problem is this: last night, my Zune was working fine. I listened to music and then went to bed. I wake up today and try to turn it on, and nothing happened. I plug it up to my computer, Xbox, wall charger, and get nothing. So I am assuming that the device simply died as the resets won't even work.
I looked up the repair stuff on Zune's website, and apparently, Microsoft will send me any kind of model I want as a replacement (for a charge, that is). I can get a new Zune 80GB or Zune HD 16GB for $120, or a Zune HD 32GB for $150, or lesser GB models for less than $100.
Therefore, my question is this: is the Zune HD 32GB worth getting for $150, or should I stick with my 80 GB model? I only had music on my Zune beforehand (which actually was around 32GB), but I never listened to some of it, so storage is not an issue. The only thing preventing me from going ahead with this is the lack of support the Zune will receive in the future. I don't really wanna invest in an Apple product (I HATE iTunes with a passion), and no other mp3 player I had before came close to my Zune.
So is it worth getting a Zune HD?
