transferring music between computers using a zune
In the past i recklessly downloaded music from torrent sites onto my laptop because it was already so messed up with viruses, it couldn't get much worse. Now i have a brand new hp notebook with beats audio and all that good stuff and hesitated before transferring my music over. I could easily transfer all my music over using a local network, seperate hard drive, even my flash drive, but i don't want to transfer over any/all the viruses/spyware/malicious software that may be attached to those files. I was wondering if i used my zunehd which is synced to my old computer and with all my music on it and reverse synced it with the zune software on my new computer, would this lessen the risk of transferring viruses over? my only logic in this thought is that maybe the zune only stores the music parts of the files and not anything malicious. and in syncing to the new computer they would be "pure"(?) files.
if anybody has even any theories on this, i'd appreciate it.
