Well back from my previous ideal i found Zune hero and asked my self.. "Why the hell isin't it on the Zune HD?"
Would it be possible to Re-master into the Zune HD platform?

...and the bastards still haven't released the SDK, have they? That would allow us to do so much (provided there were actually people willing to dedicate the effort of coding for no gain...)
Source code, not SDK, a software development kit isn't relevant here. And no they haven't because they dropped off the face of the Earth a long time ago. If someone could track them down they would probably publish it readily so development could go on.
I've been considering doing a "guitar tab" app to test file I/O. It would not take much work to port that to a tap to play app. Then you'd just have to add music.
I'm busy right now, but who knows what the future holds?
Besides, to my knowledge everyone else left. I got an email from two people about the source for my MTG Life Tracker (Planeswalker) but other than that I don't know of anyone else developing. O wait, that disease game was pretty awesome, but other than that...

You should collaborate with other developers, makes things a lot easier. The Dev team was for all types of things for Zune.

All the developers that I have seen on this site have vanished. If anyone is interested though, they could just send me an email/PM.
For the most part though, I like to work alone or with a small group. I tend to bounce between three or four projects depending on what interests me at the time, some people don't like that.
Edit: After some research, it looks like XNA3.1 does have some support for retrieving the frequency of music. As such it might be possible to make a tap version of Audiosurf, however I don't really have the time to do all the coding for this and everything else I have going on. Seems I might have to take your advice on getting into the Dev Team.
EDIT: Looking closer it appears that it was originally open source. LedZepp was the one to ccgame it. Must have been thinking of another app recovered through decompiling.
Was Zune Hero able to work with any song? OR just ones with FOF or GH/RB files with it. It I wrote this I think I would try to have it work with any song you like. Otherwise with how small the community is the project wouldn't get very far.
