i need help for the zune 120 gb

i have a laptop the brand is gateway and software is windows xp....
when i plugged my zune up i said a unknown device was connected den da hardware wizard popped up ..i tried it but i says it had a problem installing it..so i went to the device manager and tried updating it and it still didnt workk...i tried restoring it and now im stuck on connect it to the pc and restore...i tried everything..so i unstalled it and plug it up now when i plug it to the laptop nothing pop ups and the zune is still at connect to pc and and restore firmware...iwent to device manager and click properties and it said No drivers are installed for this device.....

so what do i do now?

So you have the Zune Software installed on your computer.
Open up the software, go to settings, general, and check the box to start Zune software when you plug in the Zune.
THEN, close the Zune software.
THEN, plug in your Zune into the various ports on your laptop. Wait about a minute and see if the software pops up.

Delete any drivers affiliated with the Zune, then search online for Zune 120 Drivers.
