was my choice right? all my friends have xbox and i love halo
What matters is what YOU want, not what you're friends want. Don't let us decided on whether or not you made the right decision. You be the judge of that.
I have never had a problem with discs reading unless it has laser burn.
Blu-Ray can and will always fit more data on a disc compared to a DVD.
Microsoft is going to start using a new disc format called XGD3, it will add an extra 1gb of data room per DVD.
If you have Halo Reach and XBL hit me up, my gamertag is: Nick zB
They're overpriced because they're HD. And bluray can be read through a ****ton of scratches unlike the discs that the 360 games are made on.
It depends on how bad the scratch is, really. Bluray discs are thinner, but made of tougher plastic to compensate. They also store more data and are the primary HD disc format. However, they also read incredibly slow and are beyond what is necessary for most gamin applications. Nice for movies, which people do use a PS3 to watch, but from a purely gaming perspective it's a bit superfluous.
hey i play CoD and i recently went back to Halo 3 i was a beast at halo 3, and 2, but my records are on my old GT...I Rarely play Reach now, but its not as good as teh Past Halos...Add me on Xbox and maybe i would get the maps.. "nEkIsiS 665"

I like my 360, but I often find myself asking the same question, 3 RROD and 2 consoles later. I have a lot of friends with PS3 and some say it's amazing, while others are constantly complaining about how laggy the online service is or how many hackers there are. The only real complaints about the 360 (other than the RROD) is how loud it is (mostly fixed with the slim model) and that I need to pay (which provides a better experience online).
I was also regretting it because of all the ps3 exclusives, but now MGS is coming to 360, as is Final Fantasy, so Idc anymore.

So was your comment, what's your point? With the same amount of effort you couldve answered the question.

I could write a whole essay on which console to get and what they are best for, but I am not going to because he already made his choice so my opinion is not needed. My post was simply pointing out that the thread is pointless and will essential turn into another ps3 vs 360 war.
