Best of luck, I really hope this succeeds. Like others have suggested, contact Netrix about the connection timing out, he fixed it for another one of his projects.
Unfortunately I can't help you much more than testing, but I'm more than willing to do anything in my power to make sure this sees the light of day.
All right so as ive been over before, You use a playon server that allows you to use your netflix,hulu,youtube,and other video streaming websites on portble devices on consols on the same network.
Here are my problems:
Zune timeout and reboot
connection problems
Black screen for an hour or two or until i plug it in.
Okay if the mod could kindly move this to suggestions to disprove while i work on this more, ALSO like to point out these facts.
Using the connection file from the NO SIP skyfire version that was discontinued i was able to use connection in liberate.
You guys are very discouraging, like what would it matter. it seems like i'm doing the impossible here if you could not have the faith in me. Also I had to go into the source for liberate and allow the regular connection from the zune to work.
I could quit and go back to my first projects , like where i put windows on an xbox 360 and use it as a pc.
Look, the i'm just trying to make a miracle here, provide free programs. i'm working hard to do it , with my time wheres my support a video will be up this week to prove to you all. If anyone disbelieves in me at that time then i do not care its not my problem i love these forums and i will do it regardless and shun the non-believers.
so you have also added the connection list in liberate?! if that is the only thing that works out of the whole project i would still be forever grateful. internet TV would be awesome too though.
seeing as how your main problem seems to be the connection, would it work if connected to your computer (or other internet supplying device) until you can get it working with wifi?
PS. can you post a tutorial on converting your xbox to a PC? that sounds like such a better use than reycling it if it red-rings!
