honestly, a lot of these apps seem (to me anyway) to be easy nough to make. like the pedometer. i don't know how hard it is to program a counter that goes up by 1 for every shake, but it certainly doesn't sound complex. and whats with everyones resistance to board games? some i would agree to be boring and not worth it, but if somebody made a monopoly app would you honestly not play it at all (unless its complete crap)? there are some things on there that should be completely obvious, like a sleep monitor. that sounds more like a troll to me...
anyway, thats my thoughts, feel free to agree/disagree

This is not the appropriate thread to post this.
And, if you think they're "easy nough," try to make them yourself. Most developers have more important projects than a pedometer app.

New rule: Don't say an app could be easy to make unless you can ****ing program one yourself. God damn I hate seeing that. No, making a program to count is not that hard. Programming it with shaking the damn thing is another thing. And all that other ****. So seriously, stfu unless you know how to do it yourself.
I think a pedometer would be about 45 min, including drawing up some gfx(depending on the gfx, that might be longer. Drawing stuff is nit-picky). Barebones.
In fact, I suppose I could start now.
Edit: it won't be all that fancy.
Edit2: and... done. (I'll spend some time getting nicer pics tmw. Its strange how much of that time I spent looking for the zune cable) Calibration will need to be done in the source code, by anyone who would like to dl.

Don't the apps automatically close out after locked for about 3 minutes?
If not, I'm glad you're picking this up.

I find that it seems kinda random. Sometimes, things close pretty quickly, while others, it'll just stay on? It probably depends on whether music is playing(seeing as the core purpose of the zune is to play media, it shouldn't stop that to turn off an app)
With regards to some of the other stuff on the list, like zuneHD rpg, if Merlin's Revenge counts as an rpg whatsoever(its more of a rogue) I'll have that taken car of at some point, and I suppose that the age of empires bit would be taken care of by the future derivative of mr, known as bottom earth(No clue when this is gonna happen though) I'd also love to get something kinda minecrafty going on (in 2d, possibly fighting off some zombies or goblins or orcs or something... without needing to draw new gfx)(also, not hooking up to the interwebs, though maybe zune to zune?(I'm the only person I know with a zHD though))
One day, long off into the future, I'd also like to port over ti-emu, because I keep misplacing my calculator. That would take care of the graphing calc bit.
