Default Podcast Images. Please Help!

I originally posted this on the zune.net forum, but with no avail or responses. hoping to get some better feedback on here.

Hello, I have recently downloaded a podcast (not using the Zune marketplace). I downloaded this podcast on a separate computer, and then dragged the file onto a SD card. Next, I put the podcast file onto my primary computer. I put the file into My Document/My Music. The podcast itself is contained within another file. When I opened up the Zune software, i expected it to recognize and add the media into my Music collection. Rather, it somehow recognized it as a podcast file, and organized it there. I like the fact that the podcasts were saved there. What I do not like is the fact that these AUDIO podcasts do not have the image that normally would appear as a default. I have the image i would like to use. Now, what i would like to do is use that image as the podcast image on my Zune HD. I realize that podcasts are normally saved to a default file entitled "Podcasts." What I thought that I could do is customize the image myself like I can when editing the album art on my music. But, this is not the case with Podcasts. I am wondering, is there a particular location where i should put the image, so that the Zune Software will recognize it? Do i have to title the image anything in particular? Or, is there some other way to use the image?

- Thank you!

Interesting... the podcast is contained within another file? Did you mean another folder? Anyway, you need to embed the art into the podcast file metadata. Zune can't do that, but MP3Tag can. It's free and safe, and a fantastic tag editor to have around anyway.

It will work, but you may get annoyed doing it. It applies only to the specific episode you embed it into. If it's a podcast that has frequent new episodes, editing the metadata continuously could certainly become a chore!
