Eh, I got a few projects I'm working on at once. My yet of unreleased PSP game gets most of my time. Works been pretty killer lately so ZuneBoy kinda got bumped to the end of the list. But it'll circle back around as I catch up on other things. Don't worry I haven't gone anywhere. On the bright side people can expect an update to YamaIRC soon.
Okay, so I just got a Zune HD, and I've been looking at this site for the past few days. I installed the XNA game studio, Zune HD 3 updater thing (which I can't figure out how to work), Doom, Void, that sort of stuff.
I installed that GB/GBC emulator but I can't figure out how to get the RoMs on it. They are all on my computer with .gb or .gbc file extensions, but I can't figure out how to get them on my Zune. Help?
Also, any assistance with the Zune HD ZDK application updater would be appreciated too!

Alright for the VBZ you need to get ROM's, where you go to google, type in the name for a game and right after it type ROM, and follow a link in google and download it, then go on the Visual Boy Zune wiki ( Search in google) and downloan an Icon for the game. Then go in VBZ folder, keep going to content where there is 3 ROM's already ( YOu can erase them, thats what I did I don't have those ) and drag and drop the .Zip Rom folder of the game and the picture, 2 things though, they have to have the same name ( The Rom folder and the picture for the game) and it must be in .png. then go back and Deploy, it can hold plenty of games ( I have Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Mario, etc) Good Luck

When launching an OZDK game that uses the "no restart code" it kills all Official Apps, DRM'd music, and the password function until the Zune is restarted.

I just tested and Calculator, like every other Microsoft app, is rendered inoperable after launching a 3rd-party app. The MS apps are encrypted with a key stored in the Zune's "key vault", meaning that none of them can be decrypted once that vault has been welded shut.
For the games that are broken, would you mind still posting the download link to VisualBoy Zune 0.1.2 sound mod, just for playing the games that work better in it?

There are time I get pretty sunk into one thing at a time, and that was an app for Windows Phone 7 recently. I'm glad someone took up on this, as I'm probably going to spend more time focusing on wp7 than here. I may, however, try to look at the compat issues -- can someone name a couple games that definitely did work and don't in this version?

Ah the luck, thanks for a quick explanation. Well you have to be optimistic, I rarely ever use MS apps compared to 3rd-Party Apps.
why dont he use a another emulator for it beside visualboy like boycott cause it seem like it didnt get the full port to gba and plus it has nasty crapy sound

Sorry if I am missing something here, but these instructions appear to be for the VZB and not the Zuneboy or are they close enough to the same thing that it doesn't matter?
Also it doesn't appear to work for the icons. I have the rom .zip file and the icon.png folder in the roms folder with both file names being the same... so for example "Asteroids # GBC.png" and "Asteroids # GBC.GBC" which is in the "Asteroids # GBC.zip" zipped folder. Do I have this right or something wrong?
actually, to clarify what r3dempt1on meant was both the png and gbc rom file must be in the zipped folder and must have the same name. i'm not sure about other zip programs, but winrar allows you to rename and copy files into a zipped folder without having to unzip it first. i hope this helps other people
So, sadly I don't have the time for this app. And I wasn't all that knowledgeable on it anyway. So im officially leaving this as discontinued. Backatit was added to the subversion for it, so hopefully he can release some stuff.
