[HD] ZuneBoy (GB/GBC emulator)

Well I decided to do some work on the emulator after all.

I added some code from a wii port of the same emulator. In doing so I may have killed Original Gameboy games(Non-Color), although I haven't completely tested that. So if your currently using Original Gameboy games, just wait till the next revision, wont be long. I cleaned up some useless code as well so between that and the ported code from Wii there might be a slight speedup. Currently I'm ripping out most of the features, Multiplayer, GBA emulation, etc, to improve the speed of the emulator as its a lot more realistic of a goal than fixing said things. I also plan on rebuilding the Rom Selection menu and Adding some options such as to enable and disable sound and a frameskip.

I would like to point out, A)Like I said in my original post, I dont know emulators. B) I'm used to C programming and this emulator is C++. And C) This will be the fourth project I'm working on at the same time, not including my job and life. So don't expect things to get finished and the emulator to be fullspeed in a week. It'll take time but at least there is comfort in knowing someone is working on it.

**ZuneBoy is a Gameboy/Gameboy Color Emulator for the Zune HD. Based on VBA-M, ZuneBoy combines code from BackAtIt's VisualBoy Zune 0.1.2 and VBA-Wii's Visual Boy Advance GX 2.2.1. Some extra features are/will be cut out to improve the speed of the Emulator.

Well game saves will be saved, as far as differences, game speed is slightly faster but I'd have to say, pokemon crystal is a bit choppier.

Hmm, well I just tried Pokemon Red and it ran fine. So I guess its not all Original Gameboy games are broken. Tetris doesn't seem to want to start. Not sure how far beyond that it goes tho.

EDIT: Nevermind, it had to do with the pictures from the covers of the games or something.

it gets stuck at "Verifying if 'Zune v4.0 Beta' is installed" , any help? i have everything installed correct like the c# 2008 and the xna game with the extention.. just isnt working..

hey this whole gameboy emulator for zune is brand new news for me, so could somebody help me out and tell me where/how i can get the actual gameboy games? bc right now i have the emulator, but when i start it it says that it cant find any ROMs. i really want to get pokemon yellow. any help would warrant a huge thank you!

For people that don't know SVN, here is a short tutorial.

1. Install Tortoise SVN, located here: TortoiseSVN downloads | TortoiseSVN
2. Create a folder somewhere titled whatever, like "zune gb"
3. Right click the folder, and choose "SVN Checkout"

4. Enter the SVN link into the "URL of repository" box (The link is htt ps://zuneboy.svn.sourceforge. net/svnroot/zuneboy/deployer [remove spaces] )

5. Click OK

Whenever you want to update the SVN, just right click the folder you deployed to and hit SVN Update.

You're about as far off as possible. He just said he ripped it out of the emulator. Meaning, that for the time being he isn't even going to attempt to get that portion functioning. He is just focusing on getting the current features working as best as possible.

There are loads of sites out there. Just google search ROMS, close your eyes, and click. You are sure to find a site. I would give you the name of one, but its against forum rules.
