Well, just wanted to tell you that I am working on Valgards Fate for the ZuneHD.
I need to redo a lot of graphics and all the controls need to be redone, but I can already play the game after I worked on it a bit.
The very good news is, that the game ran at about 14 FPS on the Zune SD and it runs at almost 60 FPS on the HD....
And I got a lot of really cool ideas I will add to the game...
People who loved the game Pirates! will love the travelling system I will add... stay tuned for journeys around the seas... discover islands full of dungeons... explore multi level dungeons... get and solve quests.
hey sorry i been saying you're slow i didn't know you were working on this.Looks great!!!! just like all the rest of your games cant wait
I don't know what you mean with "slow" anyway... Here is a list of the things I can racall right now that I have done for the Zune since I knew of it (remember that its not even available here!)
- Running Man
- 4ToWin
- Metronome
- GoldChase
- Suicide Squad
- Valgards Fate
- Acceleroid
- A Beanstalk Tale
Not listed are things I did not release yet like Ragdolls Challenge or my Sniper Game..... and besides all this I released a game on XBox Live Indie Games called GemChase and started 2 other XBL Indie Games (Castle Catapult game and Heroes & Villains) (All this all alone without any team)
And I don't know if I forgot something right now...
What are the other developers when I am "slow"?
Wasn't this gonna come out on the original Zune's? I remember looking all over for the game only to find it was delayed. I can't wait to finally play it
There slow to its just im not as focused with their games as much...
Alright well I have a question, are you making the ragdoll and sniper game for the marketplace because i saw on abi that you were trying to get the beanstalk tale released. Microsoft probably didnt take them because you released them already and thats why you havent been saying much
just4me: The ragdoll game was on a hold for some time. I have to decide if I stick to Farseer or if I switch all the code to a physics engine a german guy I know made. The german physics engine seems to be a lot faster but I am still waiting for final Zune optimizations.
The beanstalk game is still under progress. I posted on facebook some days ago that I am working on additional bosses and enemys.... You should become a fan of DiNoGames at facebook Being a fan provides you with additional news... :p
Sweet, man! I love your games! =) Is this going to be with OpenZDK or just plain XNA?
Plain XNA... I know C++ but I am a DirectX man, no OpenGL in all my 20 years of programming. So I think I will stick to XNA unless I want to do something 3Dish...
