Ok 1.0.1 has been updated on my server. So everyone please re-download and re-install. Sorry for the inconvenience but its worth it, you now can sell towers and when you loose the towers and everything gets cleared.

Well, after quite a bit of labor I'm proud to announce that a new upcoming game "VOLT Tower Defense" will be released for the Zune HD and Windows PC's with XNA shortly.
I'm currently just finishing up the load/save code for if you pause and wanna continue playing later. As well as adding some more goodies and testing out everything's performance and routines and putting the final touches on the gameplay.
This was a team project between Dagz, and me (MonkeyMHz).
Dagz, who roams this form and is fairly new member of Zune Boards, is a friend of mine who pretty much concepted the idea of this tower defense and did the base code, a tile engine, as well as realtime dynamic path-finding for the enemies, which runs exceptionally well on the ZuneHD(60FPS) *clap clap*.
I did the the graphics/graphics coding, game-play and the multiplatform ports (Dagz does not have a ZuneHD, therefore our team projects are multiplatform).
I'm a tad disappointed since I didn't get it finished by my personal deadline of this Sunday. However it wont be long, but I couldn't leave you guys with nothing so here's a screen-shot from earlier this afternoon.
*The Grid is only Visible in Build mode, if your not in build-mode the grid still serves a purpose of some FX usage.
And surprisingly, no its not too small on the Zune HD, i played it for quite a while when testing and as long as you use your index finger and not your thumb to place towers It works well.
Hopefully we will have more in the future.

Slow, I'm having hard time getting my level reader to be done. I could do the importer in 5 hours, though then each level needed to store trice the information, which I don't want it to.
I also have no idea of how to design the menu, it should be something original, like in all of my previous games, but I ran out of ideas (aka those that I have don't fit well with pacman/ZuneHD).

I am a huge fan of this game so far, but I'd like to note... when I lost the game, then hit Start again, it did not clear any towers or monsters. I basically continued the game with 8 more lives. Also, there is no way to sell an existing tower (tap and hold, maybe?).

Ahha. Yes I noticed that. Ill be fixing that today. Ill release v1.0.1, I fixed some other things as well. Sorry this is what happens when i try to get games out early lol.
