This is the first real open source 3D program for the Zune!
To sum it up, it's a cube. It spins. 'Nuff said.
One finger to rotate it, 2 fingers to stretch and rotate, 3 fingers exits. It has momentum and the background changes as you tilt it. Make sure you follow the directions at getting_started:end_user:start [Zune Dev Wiki] FIRST. Extract everything before doing anything

I tried re-dling in and extracting it. It didn't work. I was able to deploy threedee and the hello world things, but not this one. hmmmmm...
Edit: actually, now I deleted threedee and tried deploying it again and now it doesn't work.
Edit: NOW, I tried to put a regular hd game (chopper) onto my zune and I get an error.
Edit: NOW!!! I am trying to PLAY MUSIC on my zune and it says every single thing is MISSING OR CANNOT BE PLAYED. I am starting to get just a little pissed off.
Edit: everything seems to be ok with it now. I reset my zune and it all worked fine.
The three dee wallpaper glitch also works on this. I'm starting to wonder if the glitch is caused by coder,or ZDK itself......
The "three dee wallpaper glitch" is caused by XNA exiting but the OpenZDK app remaining open. What happens is that the menu opens back up on top of the OpenZDK app, producing the neat "wallpaper" effect.
It has to do with the fact that we haven't found a method of properly handling the home button yet, and that exit-without-reboot is a pretty ugly hack to begin with.

Do you think the exit bug can be resolved or is it implemented at an OS level?

how did you get it to work? i cant replicate it, and when i exit, it restarts the zune....i had no problems with three dee getting the wallpaper trick and getting it to exit normally without the restart. just wondering...not a huge deal. but this is pretty cool...i am liking this hack so far.
