Hey guys sorry for the wait. I've been working on trying to get openZDK set up. I can't seem to get it to work. Anyways I'm back working on this game now. I'm trying to figure out how to makea saving/loading system. At first I though I might just make a few save files to select from but i didn't like that so much. So I was wondering if there was a way to have the select where to save or load a save file. Is there a way to to this with like a folder browser or do i have to make my own? Once i get saving/loading set up I will port it to the zune for a second beta and then release both.

EDIT: Oh and is there a way to take a screenshot of the game and save it as a picture file type? I would like to make a thumbnail for each level you save so you can tell better which level is which.

Open XNA Game Studio Device Center in the Start Menu. Right-click at the one you are using and shoot the pix. The taken pix should be somewhere in you Document folder.

I think he may have meant inside the game? For the level editor, I mean. In which case, I have no idea how to do that, but I'd think XNA could.

I don't think XNA has a capability to read data from the screen but I could be wrong... very wrong.

EDIT: Second thought... why not use the procedure I posted earlier and take the pix you want and make it a file for the game. After that, re-deploy the entire stuff altogether. That seems only one opition to do so.

Well anyhow I finished with the level editor saving and loading. You can now save and load from any of 5 files. If you want to give your level to someone else just copy the text from one of the text files in Content\Levels\Custom\ and post it here. That's the best I could do for now. Have fun and give feedback. You can download the PC version now. I will port to the zune as quick as I can.
EDIT: Oh and another question about the zune. Is there a simpler way to draw everything in landscape mode? I tried making my own stuff but it ran a lot slower when it had to rotate the sprites instead of just draw them.
