In one convenient location.

I originally posted this thread on Zunegg.com due to the lack of games and apps available on the site. I made this so that it would be easier for those people to find games and apps for their Zunes.

I understand that I am probably violating many developers' "licenses" by making their games available to everyone in one, easy location. If a developer doesn't want this thread up and running, I will immediately shut it down. However, I will not erase the archive.

I take no credit for any of these games. I simply slightly edited some of them how I pleased and have uploaded them over a period of time. You can contact most of these artists on ZuneBoards.com.

All the folders are organized, so it is really easy to navigate through the archive. But you will have to edit the extentions for some of the files:
-Example:_GAMENAME.ccgame_=GAMENAME.ccgame
-Example:_GAMENAME.zip_=GAMENAME.zip
At this point I do not know how to fix it.

Feedback is appreciated, but keep in mind I am just trying to be helpful. If what I am doing is bothering you, then you can address me personally. Please do not express it in this thread, unless it is by voting for an option in the poll.

Also, if you happen to find any games or apps floating around on the web, feel free to send me the link and I will add it to the archive.

As I add games and apps, my updates will be posted and followed by a notification on the OP.

You might want to consider putting up a .zip/.rar/.7z/etc. of all the .ccgame files, as otherwise it kind of defeats the point of making a bundle in the first place.

you will have to be more specific. do they overwrite on your zune or on your computer? what games?

It's because ignorant devs use other people's source code as a template and neglect to change the GUID of the game. Since the Zune identifies games not by their name but by their GUID, when two games have the same GUID, installing one overwrites the other.

The only solution is to fix it in the source code and rebuild (Visual Studio includes a tool to make new GUIDs) or hack the .ccgame file and change it that way.

no, most likely never. the game doesnt work with any of the zunes with the 3.1 firmware and higher. the dev abandoned the project.
however, the source code is still available here so anyone can start from where he left off.
