network problem

i am trying to simply connect to the marketplace on my zune.

i set up the network with my zune connected to my pc...then tried connecting wirelessly with the zune to the MP and it says it cant connect.

the password for the network security is correct too.

im not sure what else to do.

What kind of security are you trying to connect to? Does it have domain-managed account access?

Do you have your Zune pass linked to your Zune?
Do you have auto sign in on your Zune software?

i have auto sign in on the software and i have no zune pass.

and the security is WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]

Does it stall on "connecting to pc" for 30+ seconds and then say it cant connect? If so its a service problem.

i click on marketplace from the main zune menu, then it says connecting to (name of my network) for 12 seconds and then says "Can't connect. Check your password or try a different network."

should i switch to a different security for my router like wep or just regular wpa?

this sucks

it still doesn't work, but since i update and sync my zune with two different computers, would that make a difference when setting up the network in the zune software?

In response to that, unless both computers are on different networks, it shouldn't make difference at all...at least, i don't think it would..

No. Which is the idea, normally. However, there was a considerable amount of time between your two posts, at which case it's okay to bump it. I don't know how far down the page it went, but if at any time you see your topic drop down beyond the first page, bump away.
