A REAL fix for audiobooks.

I might be missing something; but I don't think I am. I have been looking for months for a real way to access audio books. I know I can just tag them as podcasts, but that isn't a solution. That's just a work-around.

I want a menu heading named AUDIOBOOKS. If ya could do it for games... Ya can do it for audiobooks.

I want to just grab them from where they live on my computer and put them on my zune without changing **** in the tags.

I want to download audiobooks and listen to them as they are. How about something for Audible.com files? Anyone willing to fix this?

Audible support may be coming in the upcoming firmware/software release. I suggest you wait a week and then, if there is still no support, start complaining.

do your research first, we did not create the game menu, that was the xna framework. so just because they did it does not mean we can do the same thing, they got the permission and authentiation codes to allow them to alter the zunes firmware to add the game menu, a feat we have yet to achieve

this is a good idea though lemme kno once u get somewhere i want this great for a long plane or car ride

audible is available for zune 3.0. if you have wma or mp3 audio books you can import them with overdrive using the mod. I posted in the other thread. This allows audiobooks to be put on your zune without the need for an podcast tag.

audible aax files are easiest since you can just import using the audible manager and sync it.
