After some extensive work by both umisguy and I, we finally have together created an acceptable alpha release of one of our latest projects, zJewels. Based upon the popular matching game Bejeweled by PopCap games, you need to match 3 or more jewels in a row. Currently, we have almost everything working, but we still need to speed up the game a bit.
UPDATE (Beta release):
Nearly all graphical issues have been fixed, including the addition of a new menu that allows music to be played during the game. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to allow the player to reach the main menu from in-game, but there's really no point to that anyways.
UPDATE II (3.0 Beta):
The game now works with the XNA 3.0 Beta. Thanks go to Luthian. Enjoy!

I've been working on updating the code a bit, along with Marshillboy. 2 of the things we have been working on is the menu system, and the sound effects. I've got an updated release of this game, I modified the code so that when you get a Game Over, it automatically begins a new game. That will be removed when the menu is fully implemented. Marshillboy has not been clear yet as to whether or not he wants to use the zBlade for the menu. I have an update to the code here: http://download.yousendit.com/9A5CD6312D165679

Honestly, i've never played bejeweled in my life, but I think i'm gonna DL and try this out.
WHAT?! How can you have gone your whole life (so far) and not have played Bejeweled! *faints*
Haha, jk, but seriously, it's a bit addicting
Edit: The newest game file is named "Jewels" and not "zJewels" so I fixed that for myself, but also, there is no Game Thumbnail. I rather like my games to have game thumbnails, so perhaps you could fix this real quick or with the next big update?
