When I posted that I was testing the older version to see if it had the same problem, and it did. But with the latest version, the message is the same:

When i open the project and deploy it visual c# gets stuck and screws up, it didn't happen with version 2 only v3.0 and v3.1
Any ideas?

im am able to deploy to my zune 30, but it doesn't execute, (new version) will include debug lines in a sec.

Hi, I was looking through this thread to see why I had the problem in the first quote. But for me, it also comes up with this microsoft thing that says "SIR TET Font Installer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience". You need to unzip the entire ZIP file somewhere rather than opening it up in your browser cache folder.

Oh, sorry; I probably shouldn't have assumed what I did.

I'm planning on including pre-compiled spritefonts as the font stuff seems to be causing nothing but trouble, and I don't want to switch to another font (the game wouldn't look nearly as good with Arial instead of Segoe UI).

I love the new update! I've been waiting for a high score list.

High scores:


Edit: I just realized that the levels don't speed up after level 9. They go back to the original speed at level 9. So the 136740 isn't very accurate...

Actually, it stops speeding up at 25. The level speed formula is speed = 800 - (24 * level), where speed is the number of milliseconds it takes for a piece to drop down one row (clamped to 200 ms).

Nice score! That's way better than what I can do (without starting at a high level).

There is one thing that i would like to see. It think that having touch on the center button of the zune for the hard drop would be nice. If you have touch on and press the center button for the hard drop, sometimes the block will move and not go where you want it to go. Just a suggestion.

I'm currently working on 0.4, which already has multiple block sprite schemes, advanced music functionality, and access to the menu in-game (so you can change the music without losing your score). I might also fix the rotation so that S, Z, and I pieces can only rotate one of two ways (see issue #3), though I'm considering postponing that until 0.5.

You can download the bleeding-edge pre-release 0.4 code by following the instructions on the project site. Please file bugs in the issue tracker if you find any, though don't hate me if the barely-tested code doesn't work.
