Default ZUNE wont sync....please help

I need help with my 30GB Zune. When I try to sync my videos it gives me the error code C00D11CD.

I successfully converted the mpeg and avi files to MP4 & WMV and added them to my collection, but the vids dont sync!

I have read articles on the internet but they didnt help. I also tried rebooting the Zune.

Thanks

I also noticed that the free trial converted vids (from the Zune converters) sync and play well on my Zune (but with a watermark).

But the registered (purchased) Zune converted vids do not.

To resolve this problem, use the following methods in the order in which they appear:

Method 1: Restart the Background Intelligent Transfer Service service

Restart the Background Intelligent Transfer Service service. To do this, follow these steps:1. On Windows Vista, click Start, type services in the Start Search box, and then click Services in the Programs list.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password, or click Continue.

On Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
2. Under Name, right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.
3. In the Startup type box, click Automatic (Delayed Start) on Windows Vista or click Automatic on Windows XP, and then click OK.
4. Click Stop, wait for the service to stop, click Start, and then click OK.
5. Try to update the software on the Zune device again.

that didnt work

What does the error mean? Like, say it instead of the code lol. I can't help as easy then, but I THINK I've gotten the same code in the past.

Ok...I figured it out

I did two things:

1- I downloaded "Total Video Converter" (I saw the post where nathanlawliet recommended it...thanks )

2- I downloaded a newer version of Windows Media Player

now everything syncs
