Exclamation XNA CTP Wont Install nor does XNA Beta

Hi Guys,

I bought my 1st Zune last monday its a Black 80 GB Zune
That day the 3.0 Firmware wasn't even released and I read the Noobie guide for installing games... AFAIK I did everything mentioned correctly
Installed Visual C# it installed correctly except the SQL Part [Optional Component 74 mb]
Then I tried Installing XNA CTP but I got this error
Unhandled Exception has occurred in your application and when I click Details it shows a log

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

But when I tried installed XNA CTP NoDx [XNAGS30nodx] it installed fine but I got error when I tried opening the .sln file in C#. I thought its too much mess and so I formatted my PC and installed Win XP SP3 version that I got from MSDN

I thought I'll wait untill the 3.0 firmware is released

Next day I upgraded to 3.0 Firmware and downloaded the XNA Studio Beta version and tried installing but the same problem with XNA the same Unhandled Exception ... blah blah **** error

I thought this might be because of SP3 so I reformatted my PC with my Win XP SP2 and Tried everything again but the samething happened again

I think XNA Studios don't like my PC

Can someone help me please.. I'm getting bored of playing the Helix and Texas Hold'em game

Thank You

Too much reformatting!

It wouldn't have to do with SP2 or 3. What I would suggest would be to do windows updates, and download .net framework 1.1, 1.1 sp1, 2.0, 2.0 sp1, 3.5, 3.5sp1, Windows 3.1 installer.

This should do it. Post back with any problems.

The stack trace in your first post indicates that you pressed the Cancel button. This might have been by accident; you can trigger it by clicking it, pressing the spacebar, pressing Enter, or various other ways.

Try installing it again and see what happens.
