Finally got a job, which means I can get a phone come payday. I am currently stuck deciding what phone to get though. I'm thinking wp7 is the way to go, but I'm open to other options. The majority of the time ill be using this phone for texting, however ill be on the internet quite a bit too. Ill be keeping my Zune for music so that isn't a big concern, but if there is a phone with music capabilities comparable to the Zune HD that's always a plus. So what would you guys recommend I buy? Keep in mind I am in Canada, which limits the choices a bit.
Wait a few months and get a WP8 phone. At least, that's what I would have done if I didn't know that WP7 phones (seriously... Windows Phone 7 phone is too redundant, they should just do Windows 7 / 8 Phone) don't get upgraded to Win. 8, but just get an upgrade to 7.8.
So just wait, save up your money, and get something that'd make us envious.
If you feel like using the money now, get a new computer. (kidding)
If your looking into android I'd say go with the Samsung GSIII, Windows Phone 7 the Nokia 900, Blackberry..... wait for BB10! or just wait a few months and get in on a WP8, I believe Microsoft will release all Windows 8/Phone 8 in mid Oct. of this year.
As much as I like RIM, I would not recommend getting BB10.
RIM's future is looking dim.
As for the OP, wait for WP8 (I'm pretty sure Nokia + Microsoft will come out with something cool), if you want Android, then get a GNEX, or just get a iPhone
