HDD Hack improvement

That is Zune.inf in a zip. If you install your Zune using that driver, you do not have to do the HDD Hack. I used this on my Zune (which I just got back) and I can view it in explorer without having installed the Zune Software and without using regedit. I did not need any programs (other than notepad to modify it, but now I wouldn't need it ever) If we throw this where the Driver finder automatically looks, it will work forever with no programs and no regedit.

edit: if Luke ever goes and finishes the second SZIP version, we can throw switch this file out for the regular inf file, and it requires no HDD hack.

I finished the installer, but I never really had the chance to test it. I suppose I COULD try to test it, but I'm lazy and I'm helping my dad paint the house. For anyone who cares, they can post a link to it (it's already uploaded as an .exe on the ftp site).

it should work with Vista. I don't have it set up to work for WMP11, but if doing that only needs changes in that one registry directory, it should

That one registry directory no longer exists with WMP11 installed.

wait, what are you talking about? I used this on my computer that has WMP11 installed on it and it works fine, I thought you meant to get it to display in WMP11

I had my first Zune set up with the HDD Hack and I did that one manually, I don't know for sure if I had WMP 11 back then (was it out in January?) but it did work fine for me.

All we need now is a way to permanently freeze the zune in the "syncing", or heck even the "connected" screen. Once we manage to get the magic combination in order to get it to "connected", we're basically 90% there.
