One last try -- Zune HD stuck
I've researched this problem as much as I can. I'd like an organized opinion from you guys. Below is the issue:
-Zune HD 16GB was working flawlessly.
-Sometime about 1.5 years ago or so, I updated the firmware on it as asked to do by the Zune software.
-Now, the device says "Please wait. Do not disconnect." It will not leave this screen.
Note: Although it will not leave this screen, when I do unplug the device, the picture changes on the Zune screen. It has an arrow going from the cable to the computer.
It won't do anything. I really don't care about anything that is on it. I would just love to have a working Zune as it is practically new. Used it for a couple months when I bought it before this happened. Out of warranty now.
Device manager shows a USB device with an error, but does not say Zune, even though I'm pretty damn sure it is the Zune.
I've tried button combinations, however, the device will simply goto the same "Please wait" screen. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TIME!
