If you write all the drivers or find some generic ones that work, you could probably get Knoppix running. I imagine if it can run on a 320 mHz Intel processor (I've done this before) it could fair well on a 600 mHz ARM processor (of course, with plenty of coding to ensure it can run on ARM).

IDWOS for ZuneHD hasn't had much interest recently so it's been an abandoned project, but if there is enough interest I can resume work on it. Recently I've been porting a much more sophisticated version of IDWOS to embedded systems with only 8KB of RAM. I've also been working on a desktop version using a 3D user interface and Kinect integration. I've also successfully ported my work to Android recently.

I don't know how much interest that can be gathered but I would love to see it happen. Even if its not 100% I have been looking forward to this since I first of it a few years ( 0.0 ) back
